LA VISTA, Neb. - Feb. 12, 2013 -Securities America has named Brent Batman as Employee of the Year and Jeremy Robson as Manager of the Year for 2012.
Batman, 31, is the compliance surveillance manager. Batman joined Securities America in 2007 as a Rep Relations specialist and moved to the Sales Supervision Department in 2009. Batman joined the Compliance Department in 2011 as a surveillance analyst III and was promoted to his current position in February 2013.
"Brent is a perfect example of what a Securities America employee should strive to be," Batman's nomination letter read. "He is honest, hard working, full of integrity and pride, kind, witty and won't stop until his work is done. Brent is willing to take on any problem regardless of the size or effort and has never said no to an assignment."
Robson, 36, is the director of Advisory Services for Securities America Advisors. Robson joined Securities America in 2000 as a specialist in the SAA Performance Reporting Department. In 2006, Robson was promoted to an advisory services consultant and in 2008 assumed the additional role of manager for SAA Performance Reporting. In October 2010, Robson was promoted to his current position where he leads a team of talented sales professionals focused on helping advisors grow their fee-based practices.
"Jeremy is always honest and frank in all his interactions and has a strong moral compass," Robson's nomination letter read. "He leads by example and displays good character traits of integrity and compassion. He has also displayed strong initiative in his leadership position. Jeremy is a model employee and manager."
As Employee of the Year and Manager of the Year, Batman and Robson both received recognition celebrations, their names on engraved plaques, reserved personal parking spots and monetary incentives for their achievements.
