LA VISTA, Neb. - August 6, 2015 - Securities America, a wholly owned subsidiary of Ladenburg Thalmann Financial Services Inc. (NYSE MKT: LTS), announced the launch of an enhanced Assistant Certification Program.
"We have received positive feedback since we introduced this program more than 10 years ago and are excited to unveil this enhanced version with more interactivity and robust content," said Kirk Hulett, executive vice president of strategy and practice management at Securities America. "The redesign of the Assistant Certification Program reflects our commitment to providing each member of an advisor's team opportunities for personal and professional development."
The new curriculum consists of seven tracks and more than 35 unique courses, designed to be completed at a pace set by the participant. Each course includes a post test and a comprehensive final exam to confirm mastery of the program content.
Each year, the independent broker-dealer also hosts an Assistant University event. The two-day intensive workshop features a robust lineup designed to help office staff at all levels of experience and responsibility increase their knowledge in technology, compliance, marketing, operations, business management and practice management. The 18th annual event will take place in Omaha on October 8-9, 2015.
