We provide employees tuition reimbursement, free industry training from Securities America University and other development programs as well as financial support for obtaining industry licenses
Securities America understands professional development requires real educational opportunities. That’s why we provide employees a generous educational reimbursement of up to $5,250 per year ($2,625 for part-time employees) that covers tuition, books and fees.
Educational reimbursement benefits also include financial assistance for professional accreditation related to the securities industry, including Series 7 and 24 licenses as well as CFP®, and CFA™ certification. Securities America encourages all employees to earn professional accreditation and licenses and provides different levels of reimbursement depending how they relate to an employee’s job responsibilities.
SECURITIES AMERICA UNIVERSITY
Securities America University (SAU) was established to provide real growth and development opportunities for employees. By completing the coursework participants can increase their company and industry knowledge to help them become securities licensed and provide better service for our representatives.
Securities America University comprises a series of courses and exams divided into three levels which must be completed in order: Associate’s, Bachelor’s and Master’s. After successfully completing all three levels, employees are eligible to take a comprehensive final exam to earn SAU certification.
TALENT MANAGEMENT AND LEADERSHIP TRAINING
At Securities America, we use a formal talent management process to identify and facilitate real employee development and secure the future of the organization. To develop a pipeline of talent for succession to critical roles and to improve our ability to meet business objectives, our management team:
- Assesses the talent strengths and development needs of all employees
- Identifies employees with high potential for future professional and leadership roles within the company
- Creates an action plan for development of critical competencies for future roles
