Securities America's rewarding compensation system allows you to choose a payout based on your business. Your selected payout applies across the board to all sales, brokerage commissions, trails and advisory fees. Only individuals or groups engaged full time in financial services are eligible to become licensed with SAI. Let us help you choose your payout.

  • Multi-Person Branch Office -- If you are a group coming on board, or if you want to build an office, you may choose from the following options:

    Title Monthly Fee Payout % Minimum Requirements
    Group Contract (MD6) $350 92% Annual group production of $300,000 or more GDC or Fees.* Minimum AVERAGE annual production per representative of $75,000 in GDC or fees.
    Additional Information at Group Contract level:
    Monthly Service Fee of $350 per Representative (E&O cost and SABroker Level 1 or NetExchange Pro Level 1 are included in the Monthly Service Fee). The Branch is not charged a separate monthly service fee.
    Complimentary Online Service Subscriptions to OSJ as follows:
    - SABroker Level 1 or NetExchange Pro Level 1 with trading.
    - Account Manager (one OSJ login/subscription linked to all branch account information by supervised representative).
    - My WebSite ($250 one-time setup fee) (can be configured as group/branch site)
    - Client Access (unlimited codes for OSJ's clients).
    3% Retroactive Bonus on all commissions and fees through Securities America is paid to OSJ 60 days subsequent to 12-month production year if Group Production is at or above $750,000 and average Representative Production is $75,000 or greater. (see "notes" section for details)


  • One-Person Branch Office -- This contract would apply if you are a one-person branch office. (Reports directly to the Home Office)

    Individual Contract (RR6) $350 92% Annual production of $150,000 or more GDC or Fees.*
    Additional Information at Individual Contract level:
    E&O costs included in monthly service fee.
    Complimentary Online Service Subscriptions to Representative as follows:
    - SABroker Level 1 or NetExchange Pro Level 1 with trading.
    - Account Manager.
    - My WebSite ($250 one-time setup fee).
    - Client Access.

  • Licensed Professional Alliance Contract 

    Title Monthly Fee Requirements
    Licensed Professional (LP1) $150 Must not be doing any personal production. No product solicitation allowed.

    Additional Information at Professional Alliance Level:
    - Must be appropriately licensed if splitting commissions and/or S65/66 if splitting fees (if required by the state).
    - E&O cost included in the Monthly Service Fee.
    - Must be registered in the states where commissions or fees are split (some states will require a Series 63 exam).
    - All Annual License Renewal Fees (including Fidelity Bond Fees) charged to the Branch.



  • Licensed Office Support Staff

    Title Monthly Fee Requirements
    Registered Office Assistant (ROA) $25 Activities are restricted to the performance of administrative tasks within the Branch Office. ROAs may not take trades from clients.
    Additional Information at Registered Office Assistant Level:
    - May be Series 6 or 7 licensed.
    - E&O cost is included in the Monthly Service Fee.
    - No State Registration requirements.
    - All Annual License Renewal Fees (including Fidelity Bond Fees) & monthly fee charged to the Branch.
    Principal Support (PS) $150 Principal Support associates are not subject to production requirements.
    Additional Information at Principal Support level:
    - E&O cost is included in the Monthly Service Fee.
    - Must be Series 24 if supervising S7 representatives, or S26 if supervising only S6 representatives.
    - Must be registered in the same states where the representatives that the PS supervises maintain a place of business  (some states will require a Series 63 Exam).


    *NOTES on all contracts
    • Proof of minimum production required before licensing.
    • Service Fee paid by monthly bank debit (mandatory).
    • Payout percentages apply to commissions, fees, and trails unless otherwise noted.
    • No contract will pay out more than 95% of gross totals. 
    • No trails are paid on money market funds held inside brokerage accounts.
    • All Annual License Renewal Fees (including Fidelity Bond Fees) and monthly fee charged to the Representative.
    • 3% Retroactive Bonus paid 60 days subsequent to 12-month production year on applicable contracts.
    • "Production Year" is the 12-month period beginning and ending on the OSJ's or Representative's contract approval date with Securities America. 

    *NOTES on All Multi-Person Contracts

    • Series 26 licensed principals cannot hire/supervise Series 7 licensed representatives.
    • Representatives with less than two years of recent OSJ experience must complete the Securities America OSJ training course in order to serve as an OSJ.

    1Premier Funds have reduced ticket charges applied to purchase transactions in brokerage accounts. See details below.

    2Fidelity Retail Fund trades a) are only authorized if adding to positions existing before 1/1/2000, b) have a $20 ticket charge, and c)

    generate no commission.

    3Ticket charges apply to No Ticket Charge (NTC) mutual fund transactions in non-managed accounts. Ticket charges do not apply to

    NTC mutual fund transactions in managed accounts. No trail commissions are paid on NTC funds on the National Financial Platform -

    the trail is retained by National Financial. Trails are paid on NTC funds on the Pershing Platform.

    4Brokerage transactions in Alternative Investments/Special Products include Limited Partnerships, REITs and Private Equity and Debt

    Securities. (Applies to initial and subsequent purchases, sells and redemptions). Pershing categorizes these items as Special

    Products and charges are applied directly to the client's account rather than as a ticket charge. As indicated in the Client Fee

    Schedule, a $50 charge applies in retirement accounts and a $100 charge applies in non-retirement accounts.

    5Listed Equities include MLPs, REITs and Closed-end Mutual Funds listed on an exchange.

    6There is a $30 charge for option assignments.
